Our Caregivers are the heart of Brentwood Home Care LA. They are recognized as the prominent part of our home care programs.

recruitment and screening process
Home Care Aides Registry
All Caregivers/Home Care Aides must complete the Home Care Aide Registry Application process as required by the State. Brentwood Home Care LA will assist with the registration.
Background Check
The State requires that all Home Care Aides are registered and must undergo background check. We require our Caregivers to submit to Live Scan fingerprinting clearance through FBI and DOJ. Those applicants with convictions other than traffic violations are disqualified.
Qualifications
We choose the right people. Not only they should have good personalities, but they should also meet more than the basic requirements.
- Registered Home Care Aide
- Completed the entry-level training.
- Can speak and understand English.
- Can function well in a home setting.
- Flexible and willing to work in different shifts.
- Patient, attentive, dependable, and compassionate.
- Have prior experience with Senior Care.
Interview Process
Our Managing Members are experienced in Health, Caregiving, and Customer Service industries that allow us to find out important aspects such as their motives for applying, their character through a couple of interviews, their experience, and personal traits. We have a very extensive list of questions that are all pertinent to home care industries and to care, in general.
Training
Brentwood Home Care LA recognizes the importance of training and expects each of our Caregiver to actively participate in the training opportunities and bring with them an attitude of discovery and learning. This will in turn allow us to meet the needs of our Clients.
